Title: Forklift Operator
Reports To: Plant Manager
Main Purpose of Job: Looking for a technically skilled individual with excellent attention to
detail for the position of Forklift Operator. This role will be responsible for moving material by operating
a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. The goal will be to ensure that material
and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency. This individual will be
responsible, hardworking, and be a team player!
Duties:
Unload materials and stack them to assigned places
Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
Comply with company policies and safety guidelines
Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facility
Load and unload trailers
Transport materials to different locations within the facility
Secure loads to machine before transportation
Inspect for damages to vehicles
Operate and manage technical equipment
Identify workplace safety hazards
Adhere to safety management standards
Adhere to production schedules
Required Skills:
Forklift experience preferred
Mathematical aptitude
Good organizational skills
Attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication
Strong work ethic
Reliable
