Job Summary: The MM works with property owners and insurance professionals after events such as a fire or flood to clean up and repair damage to residential and commercial property. As the MM, you will be on scene after property disasters to accurately scope projects, write mitigation estimates and sign work for our production teams to complete. You will build relationships with insurance professionals and communicate with property owners the expectations to mitigate their loss and provide a clean, safe environment. You will interact with property owners, claim adjusters, property managers, and trades people on a daily basis. The incumbent must work as part of a team to ensure good customer service while meeting a strict set of reporting guidelines for our insurance carrier partners.
Daily Duties and Responsiblities: 
• Calls on adjusters, property managers and other direct referral sources to support overall marketing.
• Receive loss assignments.
• Work directly with mitigation staff to contact and be on-site in as timely of fashion as deemed appropriate.
• Prepares and estimates an accurate scope, signs contract and secures agreed price in a timely fashion (typically within 48 hours of the inspection or according to program requirements for specific losses/carriers).
• Coordinates, monitors and supervises customer/homeowner quality service on a day to day basis.

  Job Summary
 
Clear Path for Veterans, Inc. (CPV or Clear Path), is Upstate New York’s Veteran Resource Center serving as a hub of information, programs, and services for veterans and their families. Clear Path for Veterans is located in Chittenango, NY.  The Volunteer Manager is responsible for identifying volunteer opportunities within the organization, recruiting individuals to fill those positions; and managing Clear Path for Veterans’ volunteers.  Volunteer opportunities include, but are not limited to, supporting program director needs, special event support, fundraising, facility upkeep and maintenance, outreach, and general office support. The incumbent must display the utmost personal warmth, courtesy, and professionalism.
 
Primary Functions
 
Volunteer Management:

Maintain constant and proactive communications with staff to assess their need for volunteer assistance.
Analyze and make recommendations on the number of volunteers and number of hours needed to fulfill volunteer requests.
Hold monthly individual meetings with Directors to collaborate and resolve the status of volunteers for their respective departments

 

Ensure current volunteer service descriptions are up to date.
Work with staff to develop new volunteer service descriptions as needed
Maintain a record of all descriptions.

 

Volunteer applications
Ensure that Clear Path’s volunteer application reflects the information areas needed to assess the volunteer applicant’s applicability for a volunteer interview.
Oversee the input of volunteer applications and volunteer account records created in Salesforce.
Contact the volunteer applicant in a timely manner to schedule a face-to-face interview.
Assess the results of the interview and determine if the volunteer’s application will be accepted.

 

Complete volunteer orientation to include:
A history and detailed understanding of the Clear Path for Veterans mission along with the programs and services that are provided.
Ensuring they fully understand the scope of their volunteer service, including providing them with an accurate volunteer service description.
Ensuring the Volunteer Orientation Checklist is fully completed before the volunteer is allowed to participate in their first assignment.
Conduct volunteer training, or delegate it to the appropriate staff member, being ultimately responsible for ensuring it is adequately completed and done in timely manner (no more than 30 days after initial contact).

 

Manage and schedule volunteers to adequately fulfill the needs of staff when they need volunteers.
Work in close collaboration with the Director of Operations in overseeing volunteer group tasks and opportunities.
Ensure volunteers have what they need to perform their service including name tags, t-shirts, supplies, etc.
Ensure there is a backup plan for volunteer cancellations and no-shows.
Provide support and direction for volunteers as needed and in conjunction with other Clear Path for Veterans staff.
Ensure adequate communication with volunteers in all matters pertaining to work requests and guest, event, or program updates.
Monitor activity and identify volunteers who may not be fulfilling their volunteer service description, are not supportive of the mission or have other service issues. Conduct counseling sessions designed to improve or eliminate issues.

 

Work in close collaboration with the Hospitality Manager ensuring that the volunteer experience is positive and engaging.
In collaboration with the Hospitality Manager, plan and execute volunteer appreciation events.
Develop and implement a system to show Clear Path’s gratitude for volunteers to include thank you notes, awards, letters, and other forms of tangible recognition.
Ensure on-going volunteer recognition by all staff members.
Evaluate volunteer recognition programs and assess their effectiveness.

 
Volunteer Program Development and Administration:
 

Work with the Regional Peer Support Managers to expand volunteer opportunities across Clear Path’s coverage area.
 

Work with the Director of Development in developing ways volunteers can give back.
 

Create and maintain effective relationships with community organizations including summit meeting participants, and civic, military, religious, and corporate groups. This includes attending outreach events and other offsite events or meetings to develop relationships.
 

Create and maintain relationships with other volunteer organizations for the purpose of networking, sharing ideas, and learning.
 

Recordkeeping:
Track volunteer hours and assignments
Prepare timely reports on volunteer use as needed or requested
Maintain a record of volunteer length of service
Maintain a record of why volunteers decrease the amount of service and/or no longer serve.

 

Participate in creating, monitoring, and managing the volunteer services budget.
 

Perform any other duties as assigned or necessary to complete job responsibilities. This   
could include filling in at the front desk, giving tours, attending community events, and/or anything else necessary to carry out Clear Path’s mission.
 
Education, Experience, and Other requirements
 

A Bachelor’s degree in a discipline relevant to performing the duties of the job; or a sufficient combination of advanced education and work experience.

Job Summary
Clear Path for Veterans, Inc. (CPV or Clear Path), is Upstate New York’s Veteran Resource Center serving as a hub of information, programs and services for Veterans and their families. The Peer Support Manager is responsible for assisting Veterans with integrating back into their community by connecting them with programs and services that will accomplish holistic warrior care. This position provides emotional support and referrals for Veterans who are in crisis or going through problematic situations. The incumbent of this position also functions as a positive role model for all Veterans. The Peer Support Manager works to identify and connect Veterans with programs and services on the medical center campus and to existing resources within the community.
Peer Support Primary Functions

Respond promptly and with compassion and understanding to inquiries from Veterans.
Answer Veteran/client questions, including researching information to provide complete and accurate responses when necessary.
Assist with potential Veterans that may need employment and service dog assistance.
Meet with Regional Peer Support Manager to review open cases and provide support with overflow caseload as needed.
Develop and disseminate reports as necessary including, but not limited to, outreach events, the activities CPV provides to the community, meetings with community partners, detailed categories of Veterans and family members served.

Evaluate Peer Support program effectiveness and efficiency through monitoring all caseloads for the following elements: 
Assess ability to function independently about health, financial stability, and housing.
Assess progress in the program, identify areas of holistic warrior care that may need to be adjusted so that it’s ensured the Veteran reaches their goal.

Search out and identify potential resources within assigned territories. 
This could include, but not be limited to community, state, federal, health, and social resources. 

Represent, or assist in representing Clear Path for Veterans at a variety of community events and other activities
Identify and form relationships with Veterans encountered at those events.
Approve events and activities for assigned CPV geographic location.
Prepare and facilitate a variety of presentations about Clear Path’s peer mentor program and Clear Path in general.

Attend and actively participate in departmental and organizational meetings with Clear Path for Veterans.
Promote teamwork by communicating regularly and effectively with Regional Peer Support Program Manager. 
At the direction of the Regional Peer Support Manager, participates in hiring process with Human Resources for Peer Support Program Staff as needed.

Outreach Primary Functions

Create and maintain strong partnerships with community agencies, groups, State, Federal, tribal, faith based, and other organizations that can help support the Clear Path.
Increase Clear Path’s visibility through the distribution of program specific literature (brochures, event flyers etc.) within the community and with Veteran focused groups (American Legion, U.S Department of Veteran Affairs etc.).
Stay informed of current events, local initiatives, and community growth that could impact Clear Path’s mission and presence in the community.
Attend and actively participate in CPV VA staff meetings, as requested.

Produce outreach related activity reports as needed.

Responsible for issuing and staging raw material to all job travelers. Also, the incumbent ensures that raw materials and components are stored in appropriate locations.

Job Title: Sanitation Technician - 3rd Shift
Location: Baldwinsville, NY

Job Summary: 
The Sanitation Technician is responsible for performing duties related to sanitizing machinery, other equipment and the facility.  They are also responsible for assigning job duties to Sanitation Assistants, working with the master sanitation schedule to ensure all sanitation duties are completed thoroughly and efficiently. An employee working in this area is expected to operate as a member of a team, which includes assisting one another as needed. In the absence of the Sanitation Assistant either another Sanitation Assistant or an employee cross trained in that skill and that understands the food safety job requirements will perform this job function.
Duties/Responsibilities: 

Verify and perform daily, weekly, and periodic plant wide cleaning and sanitation, including applying cleaning agents, washing, sweeping, and mopping.
Adhere to plant Master Sanitation Schedule.
Dismantle and reassemble equipment as necessary to ensure a thorough sanitation is completed.
Verify what cleaning agents are used, why we use them, and understand the proper amounts and application process. Ensure adherence to proper MSDS requirements.
Maintain housekeeping, GMP’s, and safety within the facility.

This position provides assistance to Mechanic I for production line equipment maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. In the absence of the Maintenance Mechanic II the Maintenance Technician will perform this job function.

Mechanic II Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, manuals and sketches.
Must be able to operate man lifts, scissor lifts, aerial lifts, and forklifts.
Good working knowledge of processing equipment and maintenance procedures.
Thorough knowledge and experience in the areas of basic mechanics, hydraulics, control valves, pneumatics, schematic diagrams, maintenance, electrical components including solid state controls, motor power, control wiring, and basic process control.

Job Title: Additive Manufacturing Technician 
Vetted Tech is a veteran owned and operated company. They design and print parts for the aerospace industry among others and business has grown quickly. This position is open to all veterans and we encourage anyone with experience in CAD and/or 3D printing to apply. The incumbent is not expected to have a lot of experience before coming in and will learn on-the-job.

Job Summary: The AM Technician would support all aspects of AM activities inside the facility using various advanced additive and subtractive manufacturing machines (LPBF, FDM, EDM, and CNC). These activities include process documentation, machine set-up for print jobs, overseeing the 3D print process and quality as the machine(s) operate(s), and propose projects to improve AM processes. Incumbent will safely handle the metal before and after the build, this includes sieving, loading, part de-powdering, measuring, and safe storage. Manage the life cycle of the metal material, maintain part(s) traceability, as well as coordinate powder suppliers and powder recycling services. Perform routine maintenance on the machines and troubleshoot manufacturing hardware. Incumbent will provide training to new manufacturing staff as the company expands.
Primary Responsiblities:
• Work directly from CAD models to produce AM components in a variety of different metals
• Perform machine setup, post processing, tracking of raw materials and managing new and in process parts through multi-step workflows
• Maintain schedules in conjunction with safety and quality within a fast-paced environment
• Manage the workspace in a clean, organized, and thoroughly maintained manner
• Complete production builds per operating schedule, and support part flow through process as needed to support business goals for quality and on-time delivery metrics
• Observe, log, and report new and continuing printer and part quality related issues
• Operate forklifts, manual lifts, and pallet jacks to safely move product around the facility
• Inspect material and make notations of any exceptions and/or damages for all inbound and outbound shipments
• Monitor and maintain equipment and machinery
Desired Qualifications: 
• 1+ years working as an AM technician with either LPBF, FDM, or EDM machines (EOS M290, Markforged) 
• AS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Optical Technology, or related field
• Experience working with Advanced Manufacturing and Reverse Engineering is a plus
• Knowledge of CNC programming a plus
• Experience with metal powders is a plus

Pay Rate and Hours: $15.00-$15.50/hour starting pay rate. 1st shift, 7 am-3:30 pm M-F. 

Summary: In this role, incumbent finishes molded parts to customer specifications.
Responsibilities:

Mix filler and hardener per instructions.
Inspect parts and fill voids.
Using sandpaper, straight drill, and sander, finish parts per job instructions.
Verify counts, scan job traveler, and route to the next location.
Meet quality and quantity standards for the position.

Job Title: CNC Machinist II
Reports To: Machining Supervisor
Pay Rate and Hours: $25.00-$28.00/hour based on experience. There is a test to determine skill level. Hours are 2nd shift, approx 3:30 pm to 12 am.

Obtains first piece approval from quality inspection.

The Install Helper assists in the installation of stone countertops in residential settings. On occasion, these installations may take place in commercial settings.

This role travels daily- Stone Central NY operates within a 3 hour driving range of the Syracuse location. Incumbent must be appropriately flexible with location changes. Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to ongoing construction and various weather conditions. Equipment is provided to make it easier to move and carry stone pieces on the jobsite; some heavy lifting, pushing and pulling is required where equipment is not manageable. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud.

Job Title: Pour Off Operative
Reports To: Foundry Supervisor
Pay Rate and Hours: $16.00-16.50/hour starting wage. 1st shift, starting 6 am and ending at approximately 2:30 pm M-F. 

Summary: In this role, incumbent inspects molds (mainly sand), sets/inserts cores into the molds, and completes steps to prepare the mold to go to the pouring function Incumbent in position pours heated metal into mold.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for setting up, assembling cores, clamps, and mud molds and pouring metal into mold using heated ladle.
Sets-up, loads, degasses and skims furnaces to melt down various metals ensuring melts are held at specified temperatures
Sets up, assembles cores, clamps and muds molds following process specifications
Uses heated ladle to pour metal into mold
Knocks down solidified molds and moves to appropriate knock out area
Inspects the sand cast mold and cleans the edges off as necessary.
Sets-inserts cores into the mold.
Blows the set/inserted mold cores out.
Blackens the inspected, core(s) inserted and blown out mold with the acetylene torch.
Closes the cope and drag after a final inspection.
Puts risers on the mold if required.
Communicates with next production station (pour off) to coordinate the timing in order to deliver the assembled prepared mold to the Pouring station in a timely manner (pour off requires a pre heating time period).
Completes and/or maintains required reports and records.
Meets quality and quantity standards for the position.

Checks weights of sand, catalyst and binders and reports discrepancies from specifications to supervisor.
Using Pacemaster machine, fills and vibrates molds while manually packing sand.
Strikes off excess sand.
Uses rollover machine or manually strips pattern when sand has hardened.
Inspects mold for flaking sand, broken parts, etc. and condition of pattern.
May assist Plaster Molders loading molds into ovens.
Performs routine machine maintenance.
Completes and/or maintains required reports and records.

Job Summary: 
Oversee and assist in the cleaning and maintenance of work areas and restrooms of the client’s facilities by vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and performing related job duties. Site Supervisor supervises 1-6 Janitors, which includes assigning work and ensuring there is adequate labor coverage for all shifts. Report to client on a daily basis to obtain work orders and special requests. Responsibilities also include making hiring recommendations; planning, scheduling, and assigning work; instructing and training staff; checking and approving work; conducting informal performance appraisals; recommending salary adjustments; and making recommendations regarding unsatisfactory employees.
Duties: 

Act as a liaison between R & R Janitorial Service and the client. Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
Provide excellent supervision, guidance, and leadership to staff. Resolve problems fairly and effectively.
Maintain equipment in excellent and safe working order. Notify Operations Manager or office when equipment needs to be repaired or replaced.
Prevent/eliminate any hazards at the job site (e.g., slippery floors, equipment left out after use).
Keep job site locked and secure while working and deny access to anyone without proper identification.
Lock all doors, arm the security system, and turn off all lights upon leaving the job site.
Maintain janitor’s closet in a neat and orderly condition.
Notify Operations Manager or office of any irregularities, adverse situations, and all workplace injury/illness.
Phyiscal Requirements: 
Ability to operate a vacuum cleaner, dust mop, wet mop, bucket and wringer, and floor machine. 
Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions. Ability to exert up to twenty pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to ten pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Qualifications: 
 Six months to one year related janitorial experience preferred but not required.
 Six months to one year previous supervisory experience.
 Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
 Ability to write simple correspondence.

 Ability to work nights and weekends.
 Ability to work additional hours occasionally to assist with special projects or to cover for coworkers who are sick or on vacation.
