Job Summary: 

As an Independent Direct Marketing Associate, you will be starting your day with daily marketing meetings at our Watertown location and reviewing assigned canvassing area and metrics goals for the day. Independent Direct Marketers are responsible for traveling to their designated canvassing area for the day and going door to door canvassing promoting the Renewal by Andersen Brand. You will be educating homeowners and prospects on all Renewal by Andersen products, setting appointments, and gaining qualified leads for our sales team.

Essential Functions: 

• Memorize and confidently recite sales scripts and statements prepared and provided by Renewal by Andersen to develop rapport and influence homeowners in targeted territories to secure Sales appointments
• Go door-to-door in designated areas while identifying issues with current homes to introduce Renewal’s offers to potential customers
• Demonstrate a vast knowledge of our products and services being canvassed to convince homeowners to schedule a free inspection and estimate on specific home improvement projects
• Gather contact information from homeowners and enter detailed information accurately that is gathered from face-to-face interactions into our Salesforce Customer Relations Software (CRM)
• Confidently answer questions and overcome objections to meet daily goals set by the Marketing Department
• Attend continual training to ensure you know all about Renewal, our quality products (windows, doors, etc.), and know how to use our software systems to set day/time for sales opportunities in our calendars for each market
• Attend on and off-premise meetings
• Consistently meet daily and weekly quotas set by the Marketing Department
• Working under the instructions of a Direct Marketing Manager
• Direct Marketing positions involve frequent travel to designated canvassing areas, where reliable personal vehicles are essential

Education and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid government issues photo ID to obtain permits is required
• Sales experience preferred
• 18 years or older
• Drivers license required with a clean driving record preferred
• Ability to use technology and a tablet
