The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all facets of the maintenance execution and scheduling. Supervises hourly maintenance employees along with directing contract support as needed to support 24/7 operations. The Maintenance Supervisor works with the Maintenance Manager in developing the scheduled maintenance programs and processes for the production facility to minimize impact on production. The Maintenance Supervisor re-evaluates the need for replacement parts and works with the team to place orders for parts and services from vendors. The incumbent plans for interruptions in work and develops backup plans to minimize the interruptions for the production facility.
The Maintenance Supervisor reports directly to the Maintenance Manager. Must maintain a close working relationship with production supervision, management, equipment/parts vendors, and the engineering department. Must report activities both orally and in writing to all levels of management.

Coordinates the planning and scheduling of day to day jobs as well as all outage work, shutdown and PM events.
Ability to work with vendors in establishing price contracts and part number designations for standard inventoried items.
Initiates purchase requisitions utilizing SAP for required goods and services.
Ensure high failure rate items are identified, part numbered and stocked.
Works with maintenance management team to optimize the mixes of: planned and scheduled work, scheduled (but not planned) work, and unscheduled work. Planned maintenance activities need to be established along with priorities.
Analyzes work orders by size, urgency, skill set, location, complexity, and available manpower. Establishes priorities in cooperation with Maintenance Advisor and Operations Managers ensuring maximum equipment availability/up time.
Checks time and cost estimates for work orders and jobs with vendors to optimize resource allocation.
Performs annual review of preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure work order system library contains correct frequencies and balanced 12 month schedules for all trades, contractors and vendors.
Determines appropriate predictive maintenance tasks with assist from supervisors.
Review and analyze delays in schedules, expedite any work activities requiring work packages that delay schedules and coordinate schedule changes needed. Work closely with supervisors and others to stage materials, permits, subcontractors, tools, and other resources necessary to accomplish the work in the most productive manner possible.
Provide leadership to the maintenance team and plant-wide involvement groups in order to drive continuous improvement in the facility.
Support after hours may be necessary to support production operations.
Bachelor's Degree in Technical Field or equivalent education and experience
