Position Description

Performs a variety of assigned tasks to support an efficient and accurate flow of materials on and off the finishing conveyor line.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Prepares parts to be powder coated by masking, sanding or performing any preparation work that is is deemed necessary.
  2. Hangs and removes materials on and off conveyor line while adhering to company safety procedures, operate hoists/lifts as necessary to move parts.
  3. Inspects material on and off conveyor line for obvious defects and report scrap.
  4. Counts and records all parts that are hung prior to and after being put on the conveyor line.
  5. Assists in cleaning powder booth and performing routine maintenance as directed. Performs stock handling duties as required.
  6. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Skills Requirements

  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education

High School diplomaGeneral Education Degree

Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
