JOB SUMMARY

The Construction Laborer role requires general labor and various equipment usage experience.   A Laborer can also work in traffic control and flagging positions. All Laborers must adhere to Barrett Paving Materials safety procedures and practices at all times. 

Physical Requirements

Employee is regularly required to use hands to hold hand tools and flagger signs.  Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, walk, stand for extended periods of time on uneven surfaces. 

Employee must regularly lift and or move up to 60 pounds. 

Employees must have 20/40 vision, either naturally or with corrective lenses.

Hearing should be excellent or corrected by audio device.

 

EDUCATION

  • GED or High School diploma
  • Valid Drivers License Required CDL a plus
  • OSHA 10 Hour training or Flagger Certification a plus
  • Prior Experience helpful
